These transmissions deliver up to 3,200 hp (2,386 kW), up to 9,000 lb-ft (12,200 N·m) of torque, and feature eight forward and two reverse gears
The Allison 9000™ Series is ideally suited for vehicles and equipment operating in severe-duty environments. The transmissions can feature up to eight forward gears (six gears for truck applications) and up to two reverse gears. The 9000 Series gearboxes are known for their high performance and reliability. The 9000 Series transmissions can also be equipped with a hydraulic retarder, dual power take-off (PTO) provisions, and a flange for a customer-installed parking brake.
