The official opening ceremony of the new company was held in Astana on 26 October 2018, where famous figures from the political and business circles of the country were invited, including the honorary ambassadors of Japan and Turkey in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

HITACHI Construction Machinery Co., Ltd., a worldwide manufacturer of construction and mining company headquartered in Japan opened a trading and service support company in Kazakhstan, Eurasian Machinery LLP, with the goal of further business expansion in the markets of Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries.

Eurasian Machinery LLP has become a new distributor for HITACHI Construction Machinery in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan since September 1, 2018, authorized to sell HITACHI equipment, as well as to provide after-sales support (including service support, repair and spare parts supply).

HITACHI delivered its first equipment to Kazakhstan in 2004. Since then the company has been a leading market supplier of hydraulic excavators and dump trucks for the mining and construction industries.

"We traditionally continue to sell our equipment through dealerships. However, this time we decided to open a new company, Eurasian Machinery. The head office of the company will be located in Almaty. Our goal is to ensure the highest productivity of our customers' equipment," said Tazuro Ishizuka, Chairman of the Board of Directors of HITACHI Construction Machinery Co., Ltd.

This way, due to the creation of the new company, Kazakhstan will become a kind of central hub for the supply of construction and mining equipment to the markets of Central Asia. HITACHI decided to invest in the Central Asian market through Kazakhstan. Today we are going to celebrate the birth of a new company, Eurasian Machinery. This is a unique company where manufacturer has direct interest. It will represent HITACHI Construction Machinery in Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan", - said the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Eurasian Machinery, Mehmet Kemal Cetinelli.

Marat Birimzhan, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board at Kazakh Invest National Company JSC, noted that the construction and mining industries are export-oriented and strategic ones for Kazakhstan. "That is exactly why on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan we are very pleased and honored to support your operations in Kazakhstan ", said Mr. Birimzhan.
