On the Gas series of MTB rock breakers, hydraulic pressure and the nitrogen pressure on top of the piston pushes the piston together to the impact energy. Because there isn’t an accumulator on top of the breakers and there is nitrogen gas on top of the piston these breakers are called “Gas Type Breakers”. They work with relatively higher return pressure compared to hydraulic breakers and this is one of the main reasons gas type breakers are preferred. We produce 6 models between 95 - 450 kg for the mini excavators in the range of 1-10 tonnes. MTB 30 (Side Connection) breakers which was designed to be used in the MTB Gas Type Breaker series is produced as 330 kg for the skid steers in the range of 2,5-4,2 tonnes and for the mini excavators in the range of 4-7 tonnes.
